LANified! - THREE Calgary LAN parties!

Greetings fellow gamers! 2015 has been a productive year for us, but we're not done just yet! Again, we are announcing THREE events! Again, all of which you can secure your seat for RIGHT NOW!

Not only that, but we are extending our Best in Calgary series to all three of these events!

Ladies and Gentlemen, LANified! is proud to announce our next three events:

LANified! 22: Glock Blocked

  • Counter-Strike: Global Offensive - Main tournament - Cash prizing up to $700 + "Best in Calgary" plaque awards!
  • Counter-Strike: Global Offensive - Arms Race Mini-tournament
  • Team Fortress 2 - 3v3 KotH format - Mini-tournament

LANified! 23: Courier Connection

  • DotA 2 - Main tournament - Cash prizing up to $700 + "Best in Calgary" plaque awards!
  • DotA 2 - TBA - Mini-tournament
  • Age of Empires 3 - 8 Player FFA - Mini-tournament

LANified! 24: Rumble in the Rift

  • League of Legends - Main tournament - Cash prizing up to $700 + "Best in Calgary" plaque awards!
  • League of Legends - TBA - Mini-tournament
  • Age of Empires 3 - 8 Player FFA - Mini-tournament

But BloodyIron, what do you mean by Best in Calgary?

In addition to the cash prizes for these events, the first place finalists for the main tournaments will be awarded glorious plaques declaring "Best in Calgary"! Not only do we want to foster competitions that welcome all players, but we also want to reward those who strive for the top. Each plaque will be personalized after each event with the team's name and the name and handle of each player on that team, then returned to the captain of that team.

But BloodyIron, are you going to be playing other games at these LANs?

Of course we are! These are LAN parties after all, gaming is what it's all about! As people sign up for each event we ask them 3 games they will likely want to play at the LAN party. Then that forms a list ("Game Preference" just below the Tournaments) on the event page, updating with each person who signs up. This way you can find others who want to play a particular game! We all play games from every genre, we love gaming, especially discovering new awesome games!

But BloodyIron, I don't know anyone at your events, should I still come?

TOTALLY, you really should! LAN parties are social events, it's about getting people together. They are a perfect place to make friends, maybe join a team, or just find people to game with, it's all good! These are all public events so we welcome gamers of all shapes, sizes and such. We run them for YOU!

Our next LAN party is just TWO WEEKS AWAY! There's going to be awesome gaming, lots of people, and super sweet prizes. Who wants to be "Best in Calgary"?

But BloodyIron, I haven't figured out a team yet! What should I do? Well, we have a team building MEGA THREAD. There have been so many separate threads in the STEAM group, we're instead having one central thread. Oh and for those who have somehow missed it, we have our next LAN party coming up in two weeks. LANified! 22: Glock Blocked, features CS:GO as the main tournament, and two mini-tournaments of CS:GO and TF2. With cash prizing of up to $700 and custom "Best in Calgary" plaques awarded to the 1st place team of the main tournament!
