Ranked Teams in S7

So I was thinking with the changes to ranked queues in Season 7 does that mean that ranked teams are broken again at the beginning of the season or are they just gonna be scrapped? Obviously with how the flex queue will work it will be like dynamic queue in early Season 6 where you could have a premade team of 5 vs nothing but solo players. I guess with flex it could 2-4 players but same concept applies. Still it seems bad for both ends you could be a 5s team that can't rank up because its not working, which happened for like half of Season 6, and you might not even be placed against an enemy 5s team. It sounded good in concept because so many people complained about not having Solo/Duo but it seems really weird to not have 3 separate queues for Solo, Groups of 2-4, and 5s. This doesn't effect me too much because I don't really play ranked outside of placements but if a Rioter can explain this that would help.
