A few ideas to change Vayne

So Vayne has been considered problematic for a long time, generally being one of the best ADCs for stomping SoloQ, and I had a few ideas how to balance her. Not going to list numbers, but just general mechanic changes.

The changes I propose are as follows:

Vayne's Tumble:Longer cooldown at early levels, and bonus damage on auto-attack only applies to champions.

Vayne's Silverbolts:Does not apply to minions and monsters.

Vayne's Condemn:Unchanged, but only does it's damage if an enemy is pinned to a wall.

Her ultimate is unchanged.

The idea behind the changed is to leave Vayne's damage the same, but hit her laning phase and pushing power, as those are her weakness opposed to other ADCs, to make them more apparent.

With a longer cooldown at early levels and not being able to last hit with it, Vayne will be forced to use it as a defensive cooldown exclusively early on, leaving large windows to be engaged on while it is down.

The W nerf will hit her pushing power to further center her as a more kill based ADC.

The E nerf is mostly to remove a bit of free power if a Vayne cannot position her E correctly.

I think all of these together would be too much. I definitely agree with the nerf to tumbles cooldown though.

Making her silverbolts not apply to minions isn't keeping her damage the same. It's actually completely destroying her damage, regardless of what time it is in game. There isn't another ADC in the game that can't use their abilities to kill minions- in fact, I can't even think of a champion that applies to. There's low wave clear and then there's "I have no choice but to be shoved to turret against every other marksman". You shouldn't lose a lane in champ select like that.

But people hate vayne so it'll get upvotes.

Balancing her for yoloqueue is very different from balancing for the competitive level though.

Generally speaking, yoloqueue is all about subjectivity and emotion where the competitive level is more objective and logical: which tends to favor numeric balancing changes for the objective/logical players.

Not that giving new players a hand isn't without it's merits, more new players that stick around means a bigger player base to support a healthy competitive scene, but when really unforgiving games like Darksouls, Rogue, and DotA manage to be quite popular: I don't see why Riot should nerf pub-stompers just because they're pub-stompers.

Your proposed nerfs are extremely harsh - enough to place Vayne in a spot where she's only a pub-stomper and pretty much unplayable at the competitive level. Also, an easier way to go about nerffing her abilities and early game would just be raising there mana costs.
