Faulty Remakes

Back when remakes first came out, they seemed buggy. If a player reconnected right before 3 minutes, often we could not reconnect. I am glad that they are consistent now.

I, however, have experienced the opposite problem. I have played two or three games within around a month or so where I believe I had the game falsely remade against me. I understand, remakes serve a very important role. If you are not here, your team is at a disadvantage and they should get to remake now that this nice feature exists. (and I'm not here for a "get better internet," I've progressively been in the process of doing so and it's getting better but not perfect yet)

The situation: I disconnect while loading, and load into the game at around the 30 second mark. I try to buy items, but I disconnect again and reconnect at around 1 minute 30. I walk to lane, and start farming minions, and, since the wave will naturally shove towards me since the enemy laner last hit the first few creeps, I'm farming under my tower when the 3 minute mark hits and the remake vote appears!

After reading the remake FAQ, I am confused. It states: >** What if a player disconnects shortly after the game begins?**

>As long as the player is disconnected for 90 consecutive seconds, and remains disconnected at 3:00, /remake will be an option. So, /remake is available if a player disconnects at 1:00, but not if they disconnect at 2:00.

I am just confused as how I am getting games remade on me, when I am behind by like 3 creeps of exp and free-farming a wave at my tower. What confuses me more is the fact that our team has secured first blood before the 3 minute mark, even, and the remake option is still available. I would totally understand if I were still disconnected, but I was very likely not disconnected for 90 consecutive seconds, nor was I disconnected at the 3 minute mark.

Any info is appreciated. Like I said, this shouldn't be an issue soon, but I'd like to ask to help anyone else who may have been penalized like this. See associated screenshot for interesting remake.
