Zed Q into W bugfix: Was it unhealthy for Zed?

I am wondering how riot felt about the Zed Q into W bug. Since the bug was discovered I have been playing around with it and it has been a BLAST. It is honestly so much fun to utilize. One of my favorite aspects was walking into a danger zone and throwing Q at an enemy, but toss my shadow into a safe position. If you go back to your shadow quick enough, your second Q will be thrown in an identical position to the first one you threw; while potentially baiting out abilities to dodge! Man it was fun..

So now the bug is fixed, but I didn't see any insight to how they felt about it. I really enjoyed having a new trick to play around with as Zed. Is there a reason for not leaving that trick in Zeds kit? Was there something specifically unhealthy about it? I would really like to see that ability come back some day.

I liked the combo, but riot doesn't, so yes it is a nerf to Zed :'(

But hey, at least they fixed the other Q bug after 2 years, now you can do fast W Q without fear of your shadow not firing a Q.

After seeing the full potential of the trick, it probably got removed for giving the enemy less time to react to it which I can suppose would be deemed as unhealthy

Whether it was healthy or not, it was still a bug

It wasn't even an effective combo, it was reliant on complete luck or your opponent staying still.

It was reliant on them standing almost still, I can agree. But it was very fun to use, I liked standing to the left side of mid, Q>W to right side of river. Juked some skillshots and made some very cool looking plays. I don't understand why it was removed, even if a bug. It was a very fun mechanic, and relied on the enemy not moving to utilize or else your combo was a complete fail. It was a risk/reward playstyle.

I actually thought they did it on purpose so it was like his W and E. Hell they may as well remove that to (/sarcasm, riot please don't).
