Please discuss. I have an annoying time against him.

You need to try either a mid laner who can harass the shit out of him early game (Cass, Vel'koz, Xerath, Ziggs, etc), or some weird off-meta shit like Tryndamere mid (which is actually pretty decent).

Try to outfarm him and zone him. Killing him will be hard. But yeah, Cho doesn't really has a true counter mid lane IMHO.

Vladimir can deal with Cho'Gath at mid lane, due to his comparable sustain, the fact that he also gets tanky with time, as well as being able to win prolonged fights with Cho'Gath after lane phase, even with the silence.

Lulu works too. She can destroy Cho'Gath during the early game; however even if she fails to do that, her kill will counter Cho'Gath's kit (Wild Growth counters Feast, for example) and Lulu can disable him, making him an easier target during teamfights.

Morgana is also good against Cho'Gath because she has her passive to be able to compete with Cho'Gath's sustain. Also, her black shield means that she can't be silenced or knocked up by Cho'Gath's abilities. While her black shield does not help against Cho'Gath's ult, Morgana's lockdown power allows her to destroy Cho'Gath's team during teamfights.

play viktor dodge his knock up profit?

I would pick something to outrange and outscale the Cho'Gath and simply just try to work around him.

So I personally might go Corki mid because I am very proficient with that and maybe go early bilgewater for sustain or even blade of the ruined king. I would harass him hard if he tries to auto creeps and maybe maintain my hp with a flask if not a longsword 3 pot start.

I hear Cassio also trouble Cho.

And Azir.

I know I can handle a Cho'Gath 1v1 as Fizz mid as well. 100 to 0 on Cho is very doable with ignite and extra W points at 5 or 6 before Cho starts stacking feasts. For Fizz tho the silence is a big problem in teamfights.

Someone with sustain DPS

Karthus Malzahar Lissandra Riven Teemo Veigar Vladimir are good choices. Harassing the heck out of him, remember, Cho heals by killing minions, no cs = no heal.

Try Riven. Dodge his Knockup if you're able and try not to get silenced mid combo. Its a pretty easy counter as long as you're not letting him hit you with rupture.

You either all in him early and zone him from CS so he can't use his passive, or you play a farm lane until you finish your first item and try to kill him before his RoA gets fully stacked. If you don't kill him before that then you probably won't kill him at all outside of a teamfight with your ADC.

Riven is terrible vs Cho... I know a Cho main who says that it's his favourite matchup; he usually gets at least 3-4 kills on her before the laning phase ends (I've played with him in Platinum). Only long range and kiting are good vs him. You can't all-in this beast. Casters are screwed from the silence, so don't pick short range combo champions vs him.

Someone with low cost/free constant ranged harass, or long enough cc chain to allow you to get in and out without taking a silence. Wittle him down when he goes for cs. If he's smart you'll probably never kill him, but you can win lane.

This!^

As a Cho main, here's what I hate laning against:

Heimerdinger Olaf Nasus Swain Vladimir Zyra Ziggs Warwick

And of course, right now, Ryze. But he's broken against everything ATM.

impossible since his kit confer all in and his passive and wave clear counters poke. so there is really no counter. make if you snowball insane at elbe 3 with fizz and jungler. maybe. or well played cassi with early lead. maybe garen mid haha
