Rengar and I

Okay, so we all know and love this squishy-devouring kitty cat that we all know as Rengar. Since mid-season 5 I've mained rengar and i felt like to play him on a higher level is definitely a challenge compared to playing him on a lower level (cough bronze cough). I know there are people that think he's been in a strong spot for far too long for how people see him as "easy". I half-heartedly agree. Recently Rioters on multiple sources have been confirming to start whittling down this cat because people think he is OP.

That is half the problem. Rengar IS easy. Yes i did say that he was hard to play on a higher level , and i still stand by it What i mean is that when I play with a teammate who is playing Rengar, usually F2P or first time, they proceed to dominate easily, and it makes me cringe to see their lack of mechanics. I see the reasons to nerf him, but i find them irrelevant. Rengar is one of the champions that make him almost impossible to balance. he's either a post-nerf pussycat or a lion.

What I propose is to make him harder to play for new players. I do not want to see this cat nerfed into oblivion or entirely reworked. For example, the good rengar properly use the bushes to their advantage, more than just jumping. I would slow down his jump speed. I also think his E damage should be toned down just a bit with either a longer cast time/slower flight. His ult detection range should be shorted by a few 100 units, but the invisibility duration increased.

This is just my ideas on his state right now. I do not want this cat destroyed nor OP.
