NERF GNAR ALREADY. THERE IS ZERO counter play to his laning. I mean zero.

Gnar probably has the weakest level one in the game, and he remains weak to any champion with strong all ins because of his extremely short range and long cooldowns.

Just kill him early.

I played as Rengar vs Gnar... There is zero counter play. He Q's you any chance he can get then transforms into his Tank form. Ganking him is almost impossible with his trickery...

Iono i've never faced an annoying lane before. I'm done with top lane though. That's for sure. Never playing it again.

Wait, people literally defend this champion? The one with the ridiculously overloaded kit, short cooldowns, no resource to manage, gains 400 health every minute or so of being in lane by transforming, and does as much damage as an assassin while building pure tank? Huh? What?

Seriously. I've never dealt with a more annoying champion as this.

I don't know, I've often faced him as Fiora or Wukong in the top lane. I was only waiting for him to not be into his passive mode (Mega Gnar) and then I would just jump on him. Most of the time they would jump away but with Fiora I would always keep my second Q to catch up or I often had my E ready as Wukong to get him.

I'd guess that for any other champs vs him, wait until he is Mini Gnar? He's fast and slippery, but he's easily bursted down compared to when he's in Mega Form.

played against gnar as darius, i shut him down so hard he was level 15 at the end of the game while everyone else was 18

Gnar may be bad, but Azir is worse. Free trades all day.

The only way to "counter" Gnar is to shut him completely out of lane so that he can't gain rage points by hitting stuff.
