Taliyah Seismic Shove QoL change idea.

A QoL change I'd like to see for her W is to change it so the skill casts when W is held down. For Normal Cast, it casts when left click is held down. For Quick Cast, it casts when W is held down. It would choose a direction when the button is released. This would get rid of the delay from Vector Cast and allow Seismic Shove to feel more responsive. One of the major problems with Vector Cast on Seismic Shove is that it adds an innate delay when the user is required to click, drag, and release. That adds onto the delay of the skill itself and makes it harder to aim than it should.

I'd wish they would revert the patch 6.14 change. The old W felt much better, besides the fact that you could either knock away or knock UP the enemy. It may seem pointless, but there are moments when I actually would prefer a knock up more than a knock back and that's not possible with her current W. Also what I still don't get is riot said the W is easier to hit with vector cast leading to several nerfs but in reality the old W was easier to hit and felt more useful. You have to predict the enemy to walk where you cast your W and it is really easy to dodge. The old W was casted once but remained unseen till you casted it the second time. You still had to predict where your enemy walks, but at least they couldn't dodge it as easy. The lockout wasn't even that much of a problem. If you don't know, Taliyah had a lockout on her W before, making it unable to cast another spell while using W and about half a second afterwards, so you normally would combo E > W instead of W > E. What's stupid is that they nerfed the E damage and argumented it with the W > E combo would be too strong. And that before the change, when you had to use E before to get off the damage, your enemy would expect you to use W afterwards and could escape, now that the enemy can't expect you to use W, they had to recude the damage so the enemy would not be annihilated. That's wrong though. Due to vector cast and the longer cast time, you have to stand still for a moment before casting W, because you have to predict where the enemy run and cast the W. The enemy will notice that you're standing there and most likely want to cast your W so he is prepared for an attack and will try to dodge your prediction. That makes the whole point of "W is easier to hit" unvalid imo. Besides, casting the E before the W making the enemy think you want to hurt him badly was a great zoning tool, now that the W E combo damage is so bad, barely anyone gets scared. Taliyah used to work fine against Yasou, Riven and other champions with dashes, due to her high E damage, now they just walk up to me and kill me because I can hardly kite with a 20% rylais slow, the W doesn't really help knocking them back, because the hitbox is really small and the cast time is about 0.75 seconds. The enemy just has to walk up to you and take a few steps behind you, you would most likely expect him to hit you directly so you cast your W under yourself, but it doesn't hit the enemy because he walked pass you before hitting you. It is so easy to outplay a Taliyah, the only thing she can scare anyone with is her overpowered Q. Taliyah is not weak at all, but she seriously needs a power shift badly.

Now that I think about it..... how does Taliyah's W work with Quick cast + range indicator O.o

So it's vector cast, but with the animation starting upon button press?

I personally don't agree as I usually just hit the button to see the range, and since I use quickcast, it would just automatically go off and screw me
