Anti AFK'er/Intentional Feeder Protection
So, first off I have been playing this game since Beta and the ranked system you currently have implemented is seriously broken. Let's use the past couple days for example for my game experience as an example to explain my point. In a 10 game sampling size I have had 40% of my games decided by an AFKer (either rage quit or feeds then just so happens to have internet issues). So, that leaves a pool of 60% of my games available to win now even pro's will tell you anything about 50% in this game is impressive due to the nature of the RNG of solo queue. So, if I am lucky I get to go 4-2 in the games that can be controlled. Which would mean that you are effectively losing LP despite playing really well. 4-6 overall which would mean that you are losing roughly 40 LP every 10 games without any recourse. Even if you go 5-1 in the non-AFK games thats a break even point. You HAVE to go 6-0 in the games that you don't have an AFK'er or someone intentionally feeding.
My proposal is that if someone has straight up left your team you get 1/3 the LP lose. That would at least make these ridiculous streaks that you user faces seem bearable. Now, i know the argument for not implementing a system like this is that it would encourage bullying. Well, two things can be done to counteract this. One, anyone under any sort of penalty for being toxic or abusive does not get this 1/3 LP lose reduction. Two, mute was created for a reason. Also, in the event the person was duo queue'd they also would lose the 1/3 LP lose protection, so that you couldn't effectively protect one account or "boost it". You have a serious community problem in league right now a lot of it that stems from frustration due to uncontrollable loses. This proposal would not only alleviate this feeling in a vast number of players but also make people even less likely to be toxic due to losing this privilege.
