In low elo, unexperienced counters don't matter against OTP.

If you think you can defeat the Annie main because you picked Xerath, Lux, Ziggs or Syndra in low ELO because you checked its counter on some webpage and have only played like three games with them, you are fucking wrong my friend, the Annie main will obviously have gone against these match ups a lot of times from people like you and probably knows all their possibilities, due to her lack of mobility, the Annie main would have turned into a sidestep god, sidestepping your lux E Q, your xerath E and all of his ultimate shots, Syndra's Q W E, Q E W, E Q W.

So don't be whining when I already traded with you once, I backed for protobelt, you're already at 40 hp at lv 5, and I have 2 charges on my bar, I Flash your lux Q, your E is in cooldown and you go into my W range, I cast it and I AA>Q>E>Stun-Thunderlords Proc>AC>AA at you and then you flame at me for having no counterplay after you're dead.

From a B2 annie main.

What are you doing in low elo if you sidestep like a god ?

Poor skillshots in low elo make outplay fairly easy.

Sometimes you don't even have to move to dodge mine.

But.... How do they know your a main? They do not.

Also, they could just be meh players in general.. So is this a post bragging about how you can beat other mid laners as annie?

It is kinda funny though seeing people think they are going to win just because they chose a certain champ. Met someone in Beginner Bots that got all upset because i kept taking kills..... Challanged me to a 1v1. They chose Yasuo, i chose Mordekaiser.

The game i dont think even lasted 15 minutes as i took out tower after tower and had 8 kills to their 2..... Only because i tower dived them for about 5 turret shots at least and killing them in the process.

It really just doesn't matter. There are extremely few matchups where you can hard counter by playing a champion that you aren't already experienced and comfortable with.

Pantheon vsFiora is just gg for the Fiora. I rarely play Panth, and when someone takes my Fiora... most of the Fiora's I've fought have had skins, as well.

Honestly, I don't know about top lane, I suck at top lane like honestly, I'm fucking bad at top lane, but I know how champions work so I guess.. let him push the wave, only aa for last hit under tower, when he tries to jump you under tower, W and he'll get stunned, he should be dead unless he flashes out, which he would be low enough for you to kill him. Then, he's gonna rush lethality, if you have enough for tiamat and armor buy them both, if you dont have enough for Tiamat, buy 1-2 long swords and some armor. Never trade with him, you'll always lose unless you're like 3/0 with a deadman's, an omen's or a fucking thornmail.

Ye, but a good Pantheon won't shove the wave and will zone you as hard as possible. If he gets a freeze up, it's gg.

Either that, or he wants to snowball, in which case he hard shoves and Q's you under tower while you're CS'ing. He doesn't need to W you, simply by Q'ing and E'ing he can force you to recall. As a rule, I only W Fiora 1) if she's already used her Riposte, and while that sounds dumb, sometimes Fiora's have been using their W to block spears, as my spears start to do 1/4-1/3 of their health, or if I'm in point blank range, which is a nearly instant stun and impossible to react to (although it can be predicted, but that's mind games).

Getting a Tiamat is a stupid idea unless he roams hard and you need to shove. You do not, I repeat, do not want to push the wave. Also, Tiamat isn't even the best first item for Fiora anyway.

Armor could work, but Fiora's not that tanky and spears would likely still hurt. She isn't super heavily item reliant for damage, especially once Fervor starts to give more and more AD with levels, but Pantheon counters Fiora's damage very heavily, blocking 2-3 autos in a trade unless there happens to be a cannon minion nearby. It's possible for Fiora to all in Pantheon and win it, but before level 6, Pantheon just does far more damage, and usually, afterward Pantheon has snowballed hard enough to still win the 1v1, or even if he doesn't Fiora's lvl 6 damage isn't super impressive on someone who can block 3 autos.

This post is about picking champions you have not played with because it counters a certain champion, after checking the summoner in op.gg or any other website and confirming it's a main, choosing to go very aggresive on them while you realize you're not oppresing them, this includes any champion at any role.

Most OTP's won't be low elo for long. You got a 78% win rate on Annie, you'll be silver in no time.

I agree with ur point... but

sidestepping your lux E Q

In this case... its just the lux be bad

Automated Riven2 votes

so much this. that skill is literally impossible to miss. even against scripters.

Merlinez1 votes

TBH E is really hard to sidestep but it's possible, you can see the way it goes when she starts casting it, you just gotta be at the sides, if you're in the center of the lane, there's no way that lux is missing that E, anyways, the skill is really annoying when she hits it, since after that it's really hard to dodge the AA-Q.

Sun Wu Ryuumoku1 votes

i never say it wasnt possible... But her circle spell is easy to hit on melee or short range, basic u cant avoid it without hight mobility or flash unless the misplay of the lux.

It is only partially true.

Sure, a third time player is going to have a hard time vs a main with a lot of games, but it is a good opportunity to improve on that champion. If someone is going apeshit aggro just because of "counterpick", that particular player is just lacking general game knowledge, otherwise you can offset your lack of skill with a counterpick.

Merlinez1 votes

That's exactly why I said low elo. lol.

TimX24968B1 votes

HOW TO PROPERLY COUNTERPICK:

  1. Go to a counterpick website
  2. Look for the most counterable champion THAT YOU ARE CONFIDENT AND EXPERIENCED WITH
  3. Play them instead of someone you haven't ever played before.
