Play placements go 7-3 not too shabby, get silver 4

then riot adds extra placement game to "fix" matchmaking

Not only do I win but i get an S as well

then get placed in bronze 2

like seriously wtf extra placement game is just one big middle finger thanks riot

and before anybody points out "who cares lol preseason" i was hoping to improve my chances of getting decent placement in new season not lessen them because some bs extra match

OK, so far i played 15 flex games, i won 12 of them. I was plat 5 last season. After the 10 placement game in flex , they put me i gold3, fine that was great. BUT, with this extra game that i won , they placed me in silver 1 WTF so i have to win them all to be in gold ?????????? pls need answer

I think putting a ceiling on where the highest elo players from last season could place was a mistake

they complaining about getting matched with silver bronze in flex so riots solution was to just bump everybody else down 4-5 divisions the placement match itself feels like a lie

yeah you may be right, because after this game every one in the game (all plat player) were place in silver, so it may be a lie and riot just want every one to be egual at the start...

i had it worse i ended p5 after peaking p1 went 8-2 in placements got g4 went 2-1 after placements then after the extra game i got put in s5

I got placed b4 and climbed to b1 in 3 days or so, I don't have too much farther to drop even if they do rank me worse, so yeah...not much to lose.

went from gold 5 to getting 7/3 in plzcements - silver 3, ndb, just like op. additional game win, earn S rank as well, get placed in silver 4 this time. fantastic, i lose a rank by winning a game, great fucking system riot.
