I'm concerned by how strong Shen is in lane compared to other toplane picks.

Currently he has access to grasp + q shield + his auto blocking zone. He also does mixed % dmg and has high base ad.

I feel like beats other top lainers when he really shouldn't. I have played Shen vs garen, and trundle vs Shen, and it seems like he smashes both of those match ups wile building full tank.

For a champ with a global, that much lane power seems excessive. Maybe change how his w works to only block some aas, and lower his base ad/hp per 5.

Shen win at some point in the laning phase but most of those top laner will mostly kill him later in the game. Ekko for exemple. You should win over ekko but once he get all his mid stuff, there is a time in mid game where you cant duel him anymore till late game. Garen should win late game over shen since he has an offensive ultimate while shen dosnt. You can shit on darius early game ( if you trade correctly ) but everyone knows that you cannot win at some point over darius in a extended fight. Same for jax/trynda. As you can see, shen can dominate his laning phase in most matchup but he lose dueling power over time for his lack of offensive ultimate ( Unless you are fed, shen fed is actually scary )

what universe do you come from where shen isn't completely useless with his rework, with his miniscule damage, being outtanked by other tanks, and his really poor sustain, Shen is completely pointless.
