Hey KreepySumz, Somebody passed this video around at Riot and we just want to say thank you for posting it, because it really helped us see things from a different perspective. Honestly, we've been sort of confused by the fact that a few people are reacting negatively to the Riot Pls video because it's ultimately a bunch of positive changes that will make the game better for everybody. Some of the initial reaction at Riot was even along the lines of "damn, some of these people really just feel entitled."

But some of the things you said here really clicked, especially when you talked about how people who've been with the game from the beginning have been in a sort of relationship with Riot. Honestly, the game COULD do a much better job of celebrating the commitment of our oldest and most loyal players. We're probably not going to be able to solve that right this moment, but it's something we're going to think seriously about going forward. Thanks again for posting the video. And thank you so much for being a League player. We can always do better for players like you. Show less

Honestly I'm happy that the new folks don't have to go through what we did but we are still getting screwed. 100 essence. It's not even 10%. You have to remember 1ip=6.5 blue essence. We are basically getting 15 ip back per t3 rune.

It doesn't even matter if it's 100% refund with the types of things in the store eight now. An emote or a ward skin? That doesn't matter to me at all.

They need to throw us a party. Send us some hoodies. Put that in the essence store if you want. Give us something that matters more than a cash emote. I mean... who wants to sit there and click that during a game?

Open up the legacy vault for just the veterans. Let them go back and handpick X skins that matter to them and let the number of skins be proportional to how long they have played and how many runes they slaved over to earn.

I don't know.. do something besides give out blue essence (and an insulting amount at that - 15 ip per mark!?!).

I spent real money on champions so I could use my ip on runes! I also spent hundreds of thousands of IP on champions. I own them all. I own most of the runes. For awhile I was even buying the off slot runes just to have a collection of useless ones because there was nothing to spend IP on. I've been here almost as long as the OP.

We want the new people to get this new system. It's all positive for them, and it doesnt hurt us. But I've been playing this game longer than anything else. I've been here since almost the very beginning. I'm not happy with how I've been treated.

I have brought in close to 50 summoners! My entire family plays this game. I've started clubs, and even teams on campus. I've spent money and hundreds of hours hearing "the minions have spawned". Buying some emotes and gemstones in the store doesn't help me feel like I've been a part of this game.
