Xerath and Vel'Koz and mana usage.

Are these champions supposed to be mana users? All they do in lane is spam their abilities and yet somehow even with the smallest amount left in their "mana bar" they still have enough to do a full rotation and more.

I know both champions like to get Morellonomicon as their first item, but even before they buy the lost chapter, they still spam their abilities like they are manaless.

Add in comet + scorch and manaflow band and these 2 champions in particular don't need to leave lane until they themselves choose to. No need to back for mana or health. I include health because they can just clear a wave and then go back under their tower and repeat.

Furthermore, why are there still champions who practically go oom after one rotation of spells, while others get to spam theirs seemingly forever??

Xerath was balanced around having mana issues if he didn't attack minions/champions and thus exposing himself. Building Lost Chapter asap added a band aid that didn't force him to go in each time. Manaflow band is what made Xerath incredibly spammy to the point where some1 used to play Xerath before ends up having more mana than needed xD

Xerath mana costs will go up in next patches, Riot already said that. I'm not sure about VK, I don't play him at all outside ARAMs.

In my last game Vel'Koz was able to force me to leave lane without going oom when I bought boots and 4 potions. That was 600 hp worth of damage before level 5 alone from the potions. Add in base magic resist and base health and that was a lot of damage without going oom.

Oh, and I didn't get hit by every spell. Not even close. I bought boots so I could dodge his spells easier.

That's manaflow band for you.
