After reading this post, http://ask.fm/RiotGhostcrawler/answer/131681747595, from RiotNightcrawler and knowing that you have invested $30 Million into CurseVoice, i have to ask you one simple question.

Why not seek out some of the people that have made Fully Customizable Interfaces for other games, such as WoW?

Curse is a site DEDICATED to providing the community of game bases with mods for games, so if you are already working the company to provide ONE thing for this game, why not stretch your hand out a little bit further and find these people who already know how to make these things that your COMMUNITY has been asking you to implement for YEARS now?

Seems like a no brainer to me.

It really is a good question. Maybe this recent change wasn't actually to give us a new UI, but to redo the code so they can make it more customizable down the road. Maybe.

I can understand not wanting to outsource it. Because it can create other problems. But if you just let us customize your own things would be a lot better.

When I played WoW I was very minimalistic with my UI. I'm sure you guys put a good bit of work into the art, but I don't need it.

The whole middle bar can go. Only showing abilities when a rank up is available or they're on CD. Same with items. Mana can show when low or when an ability cannot be cast because of it.
Put XP bar back on the character. It can fill up the level # as I gain XP. It already has HP/mana. These two changes cover almost all of the non-map information I need to track.
Add a hotkey to remove the above two, allows us to see this information when we need it.

I'm not someone who hates/loves the new UI. I'm someone who doesn't care for either one as my preference. To me all of this is clutter.

Well, there has been a modding community who has created thousands of custom skins and HUDs FOR YEARS, ever since the Season 1 ffs. It's not RITOs fault that you are too lazy to look them up and take a little time and read how to install a mod.

Sure, now every custom HUD made to this day are obsolete since they are not compatible with the new HUD ... but there will be new custom stuff in the future.
