Look at sightstones this way

Not sure why you have to say this. Pretty sure 90 percent of league players know this. I peaked at D5 and in thousands of games ive only seen sightstone not be built maybe 10 times.

I'd rather not blow 800g all at once on a Sightstone when I could use incremental amounts of gold (300~650g) to buy into items with more use, like Face of the Mountain, Knight's Vow, Ardent Censer, Athene's Unholy Grail - etc. You can argue all you like about "Sightstone isn't optional" but lo and behold, it is very, very optional. And I personally see a lot more potential in items that compliment Support traits/abilities than I do in a small health brick with two extra wards.
