New stat idea

The stat is called Inertia.

Scientifically, Inertia is an object's resistance to change.

Inertia will lower the distance of knockbacks and movement-changing abilities and lower the duration of knockups and how high they get knocked up.

Champions with larger models will start the game with 5% inertia and smaller champions will receive 0% Inertia.

Inertia will scale for melee champions with larger models for up to 10% at level 18, and smaller champions obviously won't scale with it.

The tankier an item is, the more inertia it grants, so what is heavier, a sword and a gun and a stattik shiv, or heavy tank armor? The point of that post is that inertia will be given from tank items, I'd say 2% or 2.5% is fair enough per tank item and the people at riot can decide which items will give inertia.

I just thought it was funny how most tank champion use a CC knockup or knockback and there is no stat or item at all that could counter knockups at all. I may have missed a few or added a few, so correct me please.

So? Tenacity?

That's where you're wrong. You didn't read my whole thing. Tenacity does not affect knockback range or knockup duration. Get enlightened, young friend.

Yea right but still this makes no sense.. Such as chogath would infinitely gets bigger with his hot would have to scale

Bad argument for a good idea. This game makes less sense without this stat than with it. You ever wonder how a giant Cho'Gath gets knocked back 100 feet because some monk 1/10 of his size kicked him? The game makes no sense without this stat. You argued a red herring fallacy, and the point is that Inertia would be a good stat because there is nothing that can combat knockups and knockbacks in the game, and you argue a specific case for only one specific champion in the game to argue against my stat idea. It's supposed to be balanced, and that's why Cho'Gath won't receive anything for his larger size.

I think pull range modification would be wierd, for things like blitz hook, but simple knockup reduction seems like a good idea!

It's knockback reduction. Lee sin kick, Maokai E or whatever ability, Vayne Condemn, etc.

It's knockback reduction. Lee sin kick, Maokai E or whatever ability, Vayne Condemn, etc. Also I never stated anything about pull range modification.
