Thoughts? Extremely low pick rate as well - this must indicate it's dedicated one tricks contributing.

I kind of like it. I don't think he's overpowered by any means and able to shine at the moment due to assassins (his true, innate counter) arguably being weaker thanks to the meta surrounding Stopwatch.

Wonder if he'll be nerfed anyway or just fall out of favor naturally when everything else gets buffed/nerfed.

Extremely low playrate (fractions of a percentage) usually means that only one tricks are playing a champion. That does not mean they are a balance problem at all.

Riot tends to leave those kinds of players alone.

he is only played by a small amount of people which are mains or pros and if someone with hundreds of game on a champion had a normal win rate of 51% then that would mean that aSol mains would not be winning games as much as other people who main different champions

like when kat was at a 56% win rate then when people jumped on the free elo train it dropped to 52% then steadily went up to 54% and stayed there since

not to long ago aurelion was on the free champ rotation and his win rate dropped to 50% which kind of caused an uproar in the aSol subreddit

Aurelion is miserable to play against especially if you’re melee. But I can respect that he’s not easy to play well and that players with a lot of experience on him have earned the capability to stomp with him.

Sol is only played by a handful of pros and maybe two handfuls of high elo players. I like Sol a lot, to the point where he is an off pick for me in norms when I good around with friends. The reason his play rate is so low is just how inaccessible he is yo most players. Sol is the definition of a macro mage, as well as being a champion that you need to play 50 games on just to learn the basics. His kit doesn't really have room for mistakes. He is a very unforgiving champion. This tends to scare a lot of people away because they don't wanna lose 100 games just to learn one champion. He's like Riven, he's easy to learn, extremely hard to get any kind of value out of.

Sol has the highest skill floor in the game.
