Titanic Hydra on Yasuo?

Hi, I'm Hump a gold/Silver ELO player that has played as a Yasuo Main since he entered the rift. I am thinking that a late game transition from Ravenous Hydra to Titanic Hydra can potentially be an amazing item on Yasuo.

Here is why:

  1. Warlords Bloodlust.
  • At level 18 Yasuo will hit extremely hard with a 100% crit chance. This means he will have a permanent 25% life steal due to the max crit and warlords bloodlust.

2 . It costs 0 Gold to swap between the two items.

3 . My preferred build is often (Shiv, IE, Grieves, Ravenous, Veil, Randuins) quite beefy.

  • A common misconception is that Yasuo needs to be high on AD for extra burst but I believe that Yasuo Excells in prolonged team fight where he is quite beefy and can use his ultimate arm. pen buff to its full extent.
  • This extra health from the Veil and Omen would lead to Titanic Hydra giving a higher damage output than Ravenous Hydra would.

I haven't done the math yet and if someone has tried this please comment. I will comment back after I have tested this build with real numbers and an overview of the outcome.

The problem with Hydra's on him is that he can't use the active easily. He is always moving.

You're basically saying "At some point in my combo, I will stop moving to use this, try not to CC me".

Titanic also has a harder to land active, longer cooldown. Less damage since you wont be stacking health and 25 less AD. If you want survivability, stick to BT for the shield and higher lifesteal. Having both of those with an extra 25% keystone helps you stack that shield as well.

If you don't want the lifesteal. Use Scimitar and pick up Ghostblade or LW depending on your penetration needs.

Edit: There is also the recently buffed Death's Dance. 75 AD, some CDR. Lifesteal from all physical damage. Converts damage taken as a DoT giving your lifesteal more time to counter the damage.
