Is team comp better than skill?

So, to start this off i want you to put this question in your head: if the opposing team were to have a godlike comp, and the ally team were to have a decent comp... is there a set winner?. Now let me give you a game to put your head in [this game actually happened]. My team

top: trundle [won lane and could still beat other laner]

jungle: volibear [couldn't really do anything due to enemy jungler but tried his best to gank]

mid: udyr [which was me, i kept tower alive and siege split push with zzrot and banner of command trying to relieve pressure on the map for us.]

bot: vayne & lux support [ lux went 2/12 and tried poking during teamfights, i can't say anything about vision since i did not have a particular memory of the vision but i'm sure it was decent. and vayne did his/her best of teamfighting and staying alive whilst farming in lane.]

Enemy team

Top: jax [lost lane, although not stomped/destroyed, but still came back with the help of his teammates and went 8/3 from 0/3]

jungler: Hecarim [ completely stomped everyone, pun intended, kept pressure EVERYWHERE. almost as if he counter ganked every gank voli had done and was still able to farm and keep up with everything. although his top lane lost, his top lane did NOT get snowballed which meant we had nothing against him. i couldn't go in on ahri of fear that hecarim might come in with insane speed and level 6 gank over our wraith wall would mean the end. so i mostly kept the tower alive and blah blah blah read back to what i descripted myself. also destroyed our back lines with ulti in teamfights so i was forced to split push as we wouldn't have won any teamfights and told my team to stay alive and try to defend towers, which didn't matter anyways since hecarim could dive easily as he was tanky AND still did damage. Thanks tank-assasinmage meta]

mid: Ahri [couldn't really do anything against me as i had played safe and farmed, kept up with my farming but had to back often due to my phoenix poke and her skillshots had been dodged so i was able to sustain easily]

Bot: Miss fortune & annie [ let me just say that annie had the hextech skin which was cool. lol anyways annie had MASSIVE pressure on botlane and was able to get several free kills for MF and her from lux and vayne, although mostly lux, and had a shit ton of control in the bot lane. during teamfights i baited out her ulti on me so she couldn't use it on our team but it still didn't matter as hecarim could by then 1v5 our team or in this case 2v5 since jax and him were in the backlines while i tried keeping mf annie and ahri away from our team. even then we still lost as jax being the scaling champion he is destroyed our backlines and vayne couldn't do shit against him with his E]

In the end i was able to get the second towers of bot and top but not able to get inhib towers. we sieged the second tower of mid as a team too. barely keeping us in the game with banner of command and zzrot portal but in the end still losing due to the insane teamfighting power they had even though we had positioned ourselves amazing and had outplayed lots of them as i saw. dodging as many skillshots keeping lanes pushed as much as we could and doing what we could to stay in the game and hopefully try to get a lead. but they're team comp was wayyy to hard to skill out of. keep in mind this is a gold___platinumish game so i can't say that we had done everything LCS crazy like that. but we had definitely been better than the enemy team. in the end there was nothing we could do and they sieged everything through the insane amount of teamfight pressure they had. they took barons and dragons and completely snowballed no matter what we did.
