I understand and believe in the concept of carrying yourself out of ELO hell..... but this is ridiculous.

I got DEMOTED after my team lost hard and I still was able to pull out a good KD with safe and good play.

Why isn't there a system that can detect how well you did individually and maybe have less negative impact on your LP or rank.

I think I've just had unbelievably bad luck with my teams cause all of my other lanes lose really hard every game even when I try to roam and help them out (whether I'm successful or not).

But I don't think that creating a system like that would be too hard or too much to ask. It seems reasonable to me.

Riot has stated this is unreasonable because people will start playing for a good KDA rather than a win. The person running away from fights that look a little bad will end up with less deaths, but causing his team to lose.

There used to be games where I'd go 0/12/13 as Warwick and helped to carry the game to victory. You know how? For two teamfights late game, the only thing I did was W for a team attack speed boost and then ult the ADC, who was fed af on the other team. That gave my team enough time to pounce on him, at the cost of my guaranteed death. Once he was dead, my team had an easy time cleaning up and taking objectives 4v4. Sure, I fed pretty hard, but if you don't have the mindset to do as much as you can with what you have, you don't deserve a rank up.

It doesn't matter if you were fed or not. My teammates were pretty fed, but if they didn't group up and go for the win we definitely would have lost. It's the teamwork that counts.

6-22 is not ELO hell. It's your fault.

Hit up normals and improve. Never ever be happy with a win -- still analyze what you did wrong and fix it for the next game.

Where's the good KDA's on your losses? Most of your losses you're negative. You have an occasional 5/5/7 and a 6/6/2, but the majority are 0/8, 3/8, 0/6, 1/7, 5/11, 3/17, 3/12, etc.

You aren't actually playing any better than the rest of your team is. I don't think I really need to go into some big long post, you're just having a skewed perception of how bad you're actually doing. It isn't your team, you're just being heavy.

Obviously you need to play more Amumu. I feel your pain man, I had been climbing with a ~70% winrate, then played 20 games in a weekend, out of which I won 2. It's frustrating for sure. But then I started playing amumu as a support jungler tank, just warding everywhere and being an ultbot. I've found it nearly impossible to lose.
But I've also learned to accept the uncarriable games, because lately I've been playing terribly and gotten carried by awesome teammates.

sigh. why so many posts about the same thing. All the bronze and silver can see is kdr or cs. Winning is about destroying the nexus and everything in between should be done as a team unless you are diamond which can easily climb to gold in less than 20 games solo.

you are where you are because you don't know what a team game is.

Btw going 1/8 on eve 0/5 on lb 5/11 on lee sin are not good kda's. These arn't even the worst ones, just naming a few. You only have 1 champion with a positive kda and that's a 9/7 hecarim.

I was silver got demoted to bronze. I am now going back seeing what my mistakes were. Playing more normals so I can improve. You can't always just blame your team for doing shit if you are as well. But I do agree when you are doing well and the rest of your team is feeding it's hard to do anything. But on the bright side the more you play and learn from mistakes the better you'll get.
