Why the hell am I playing against silver 5 and 4 when im in bronze 4. Literally FIX RANKED. And somehow we get a shaco thats silver 3 and doesnt even know how to use his damn champ. since it was my last game of my series and we lost it does tick me off. Riot look at other games damn it and figure out how to fix it. dont try to damn reinvent ranked just fix it. I can say that i could be a better shaco then ours and somehow hes silver 3 and im bronze 4??? So fix it somehow soon because if this problem isn't adressed then League doesnt care for its players and im going 2 dota where problems get fixed

On the part where you're teamed with/against players in a higher Tier, it happens when your MMR is higher and/or their MMR is lower than the Tier/Division they are in, or as Sukishoo said you get queued according to the highest MMR in your premade group not the lowest.

On the part where your Shaco wasn't very good, well too bad, it's called free will. If you want more control over who you team with, you need to make premade groups.

It appears that you also had an unranked in the game, so they probably queued with one of the other players, who was Silver, so that's why that happens.

And if I have a higher MMR I still dont understand why im in bronze 4 playing against silvers.

Oh, well either way it adjusts the MMR when duoing. It usually places you around a low silver when you are duoing with someone unranked since you can face anywhere from Bronze to Gold.

And your MMR is usually higher when you are doing well, the game knows you should be at a higher rank, if it happens when you're not duoing that is.

If you fighting higher players it means your MMR is above normal -> this leads to higher LP gain per win than lost LP on losses. You should be looking to improve yourself in these games.
