So if you want to play another role like top and your second best position is support you can't do that because if support is anywhere in your preferences you will be supporting... this needs to change, I understand why it is like this, but it just makes it so that I don't play support ever because I would rather have a chance at top. Granted some people probably will do that, but it could at least be tested. I believe that someone would rather get their secondary role than wait 10 minutes to get their primary role.

Anraton1 voteswell .. that is not blocking you from playing support but rewarding you for playing ... that COULD work .. at least until noone is interested in getting keys (chest are limited to 4per month, 1 per champ per season) so the only thing you can increase is key or key fragment drop rate ... but as it is a drop rate and not guaranteed .. i am not sure if it is working ...

I queue up as Jungle/Support and can't recall the last time I got Jungle. I agree that it's a shame that the queue system pretty much guarantees you will play Support if you have it as a choice or decided to put Fill as an option. The whole concept of learning two roles to be good at the game does not apply if Support was one of them. As time progresses and more people abandon placing Support or Fill as an option, we will have a queue system not much different than if it had been built around only picking a Primary.

Ravenhale1 votesAs the system is already gated by people willing to play support, I don't really see the issue of simply having a Primary. The queue times will suffer, but that was inevitable as it becomes more and more obvious that you can't even hint at willingness to play Support without becoming a dedicated Support Main. Yes, you will wait longer for the role you want. That's how the old TeamBuilder worked.

gamemaniac5162 votesI don't mind playing support I just don't want to support every single game... it gets boring. Also I don't think a player should have to know three roles just because they want to support every once in a while... I just learned two other roles and stopped supporting.
Paladin 0f Life1 votesI like support. Im a rather good support. I play with golds and diamonds as support and jungle. But if you support in bronze you likely get a scrub adc that backs off when you all in engage to feed him and you die for nothing. Support pre silver is useless because your team cant team fight right and dont capitalize on picks and peels when they should kite. So yes it is rather detering to click fill or support for that reason but i do like the role
