Gangplank's Ultimate isn't great and there are chances to miss

http://i.imgur.com/mAkw9aU.png His ult actual status is pretty bad in my opinion, even for AP GP you have to HOPE those canons hit something. Last time I played as AP GP ( obviously not on this ACC ) the ult managed to miss all canons on the enemy and it's been like a month like this, barely hitting enemies. Couldn't his ult just be like Miss Fortune? I don't mean to change the area, but it just drops bullets and hit enemies with 100% probability.

Lichbane nerf almost killed AP GP or at least I noticed a good lowering in the damage, of course it's not great compared to Crit GP but it's fun to play as it when in party or in Howling Abyss. This could be a significant buff for AD/AP/Tank ( I honestly don't like, but everyone have their preference ) in all gamemodes, it wouldn't turn him into a OP character so I guess this could actually happen. If any Rioter/Player reading this could give me their opinion on other possibilities or about what I said, it's all welcome in this thread.
