To ADC:
I support you. My goal is for you to win the lane. I want you to farm, get gold, push turrets and collect kills/assists along the way.... I am on your side.
A couple things.... I play aggressive support... My goal is to get kills... NOT to farm minions... I want to take enemy champs OFF the battlefield and out of lane so you can farm and push turrets....
ADC... Often you complain about "Kill Stealing" and I constantly have to explain it's called "Kill Securing". We need to stop saying I'm stealing kills. That is NOT what is happening. I am securing them.... If the opportunity to kill 100 Champs is there and I decide "Hmm, I'll back off and try and let my ADC get the kill.... many times, something unpredictable happens.... The enemies flash comes back up and they flash away... Another enemy champ runs in and intervenes saving his team mate and we lose the kill.... Often, my ADC is simply out of mana and can't secure that kill..... The point is... By leaving the kill for you EVERY time, we will miss a ton of kills.... I could SECURE all 100... OR, I could let you TRY and finish them and maybe only get 70... I am NOT stealing your kill, I am SECURING OUR KILL. We are a team.** You get the assist, we BOTH get GOLD, we BOTH get XP, so please stop yelling at me saying I'm stealing kills when I'm securing them for us and taking enemy champs out of lane and off the battlefield.... Half the time, I'm the one that initiated the fight and did 80% of the damage, I'm not backing off just so you can jump in and get the kill.
Sometimes I'm going to leave lane, and you'll have to farm under our turret.... Not a lot... but sometimes our Jungle needs help in the river... For Dragon, for ganking their jungle.... Sometimes our MID gets taken down and no one is at the mid turret... I'm going to head over there occasionally and fill the gaps. I am support after all and I support our whole team.... If no one is at mid and there is an opportunity to push the turret, I MIGHT take it sometimes.... Please, don't yell at me, I will return soon... Just understand there is a lot going on and playing a support means filling in some gaps where the team needs on occasion...
ADC, sometimes you're not the best at farming... so I'll snag a minion kill or two here or there... sometimes you are busy out of lane, fighting with a champ off screen or there are simply too many minions about to die so I take one or two.. Please don't yell... I'm simply securing some extra gold before we lose it to the minions...
If you want something specific from me, PLEASE just ask. I am happy to help as best I can... Just be nice to me!
If you keep dieing... STOP blaming me. Period. It really is NOT my fault... Even if I didn't "shield" you or "heal" you or "take a hit" for you... It's not always possible, sometimes I'm too far, out of mana or you just get yourself so deep that I'm simply not going to follow you to both our deaths.....
My last game, I got more kills and assists than anyone else on our team.... and our ADC blamed me for the loss... Going out of lane, kill stealing etc etc etc etc.... I took down two turrets, I covered and defended our mid.. I took our bottom turret after SECURING, not stealing a DOUBLE KILL... So please, ADC, If you're having a bad game, if you're not getting kills... Don't blame the support... Please, ask me for help, but don't blame me...
A small note: Sometimes I might be able to give you some friendly, helpful advice.... I'm not insulting you, I'm not criticizing you... Perhaps I'm simply a a decent player and I'm giving you some tips based on what i'm seeing happening in and out of lane... Maybe I see the gank coming... Maybe I see the trap they keep setting for you... We're a team, lets work together, share advice.
There are 5 enemies on the other team. I am your support. Please don't treat me like your enemy.
