B4 laning against an aggressive opponent help

The past few days I have been making a concious effort to improve my game play.. Last hitting and not taking risks that lead to feeding and things have been going very well. I have been on a very decent win streak.. Well last night I was top as Nasus against a Kennen. This little turn wouldn't let me hit a minion without throwing one of his stars at my face. it got to the point that I could not farm unless directly under my tower. He almost killed me once so I backed off and stayed under turret.. Now this is the advice I've been given many time BUT what do I do from there. Farming under my turret I wasn't getting near the cs as he could get because he didn't have a turret taking some of the cs. Doing it this way I felt like I was just falling further and further behind him. What I ended up doing from there was building Magic resist like crazy, I also considered that since they had a total of 3 AP champions on their teem I would be safe doing so. during my faming under the turret I received no ganks.. I didn't complain because I was worried he could just kill us both but during one of my backs Kennen had roamed down to mid and scored a double.. I took so much care not to die by him but he goes and kill two of my teammates who foolishly chased him, so now I'm even further behind. I continued to build magic resist. I got to a point that none of the AP's could hurt me at all and I could go toe to toe with Kennen beating him with a sliver of health remaining. But in the end we lost. I jst felt so far behind being forced to farm under turret. Is there more I could have done?

Hmm.

Well there are a number of things you can do.

If you can hold the tower until your team takes first tower blood, then you can safely roam and help contest objectives.

If I remember correctly your ult gives you good tankiness now, so you can afford to build a little more damage.

But you are right to farm safely in a dangerous matchup. Especially if you're Nasus. Stacking is essential, and if he leaves push like a madman. You want to keep him up there to protect his tower.

But in the end if your teammates feed him there is little you can do aside from not feed him yourself.

  1. You shouldn't miss CS under tower as Nasus. Try improving on this/practicing it.

  2. Force him to push the lane, if he freezes you are screwed early on. Learn lane control/wave management if you are unsure how to do this.

  3. Build magic resist, lots of it. You will be able to lane vs him once you have some MR.

  4. Keep on stacking, you'll be fine.

For Nasus, 2 tower hits to a melee creep will put them in range that 1 auto will last hit them.

For ranged creep, you will have to auto them once, let the tower hit them, then last hit. You can also Q a ranged creep after it gets hit by the tower once.

Just practice it a few times, it's really quite simple. If you are going to play Nasus, getting good at last hitting under tower is an important thing to learn.
