I just had a bot lane with 2 unranked fresh accounts in a high silver low gold game... they went 0/16/0. Why in the world are fresh accounts given higher mmr than the average of all league players?
For those who dont know, the average rank of all of league is silver 5.
that smells more like intentionally feeding than an issue with matchmaking. You do not die that much with not even a single assist unless you are trolling
It was probably their first ranked game. To actually get an understanding of their placement, they have to throw them into an 'average' bunch

I'm a 'unranked' intruder, but let me tell you how it happened.
My first provisional game was (as expected) in low-mid silver. My duo took me to play one and we lost. Then I waited a few months, and went alone - I won the next 5 in a row. Within 2 or 3 games, all silvers were replaced by golds. At 5 wins, 3 of the enemy team were replaced by plats, (2 of my team faked a DC to remake- genius) so following that I had my first loss into a plat2.
From my personal experience I've devised that... the rate of climb for your provisionals is absolutely insane. If this is normal, and a unranked (who is actually bronze) gets carried 2 or 3 times, they'll end up in your game, no sweat.
because your MMR when you start is around 1250 then you get 50 points per win (at least that was the case for the season 1) at 10 games you will have MMR 1750 if you win all your games...(the first promo ones) that why right now me on this account that i play my promos and i am 8-1 i play with plati 4-gold1 players if i win the game and my promos go 9-1 i would be placed at gold and i would take +30 per win....
So the MMR is workining normally..if this person who start the game was in high silver mean that he was 3-0 at his promos games...so he ether didnt care about the game he was on or something was gone bad...
pretty sure its around 80% below gold
so yea, a ladder system when you start 80% of the way to the top
im sure these new people who never climbed a ladder before should skip in front of people because....well....they wont slow anyone down in any way or anything
