Lux support

Just curious what people think of lux support? Been trying to expand on the champion pool as I only really play two supports (Morg and Blitz). Seems like her E is really hard to dodge but isn't overly mana efficient. I got beat up pretty bad by an alistar, he just healed through my harass and if I ever got in range for his headbutt/knock up combo I was done. Kicking around the idea of learning Annie as she has raped me in lane many times hah.

If you plan on being a support main, you'll benefit more from adding traditional supports like Janna/Nami/Sona in your champion pool. Otherwise, you might as well stick to Blitzcrank, Thresh, Leona and whatever else you have succeeds with.

In either case, being able to play Thresh is always a plus.

Lux support is awkward. Long cooldowns, item dependent and doesn't bring much more than damage, even more so if you max her shield last.

Lux support can be a great poke lane, but I think there are other champions who do it better and more safely. I prefer Karma in that role, because her shield also hastes your ally out of danger, and she has a tether that discourages dives. Also her Q can hit enemies through minions if you know how to use it and it slows enemies so your ally can follow-up.
