Practice Makes Perfect! (a discussion of ranked vs. normals)
Hey everyone!
For all of you who don't know who I am, my in game name is Ant Eater king. I'm a support main who just managed to recently achieve gold 5. My friends tell me that now that I've have gold under my belt I should just sit back and get my end of season rewards, but the way I see it is that if I could make gold, then how high can I climb? If I could make it this far, then I can do ANYTHING! There's just one small problem with that though... Recently I've been having very bad games (I'm on a 4 game losing streak), and I feel like a lot of the losses are my fault, like I could have warded better or I could have exhausted the Yi instead of the Wukong, ect. I feel like as bad as I'm doing, if I practice enough I could stop my losing streak and become a much better player and start climbing again. There's just yet again one small problem... Team builder (in my opinion at least) is an absolute joke. I've made a post about my opinions of Team Builder a few weeks back and if anyone is interested in reading it I will post a link to it, but the point I'm trying to make is that I don't think going to team builder is a very efficient way of practicing my role.
That's why I'm making this post, I want to know you're opinions on what I should do if I want to practice. Should I sacrifice my lp to train with people in my division? (My mmr is high so I only lose 12-16 LP per loss) or should I suck it up and go to Team Builder and risk getting matched with bronze players (that isn't an exaggeration, it has happened before). And if any fellow support mains out there can give me any tips that they use to climb the ladder it would be greatly appreciated.
TLDR version: Bad losing streak, Not sure whether I should practice in Ranked or Team Builder.
Thank you all for reading, and good luck on the rift!
