I'll add a poll just because....
I feel like it's pretty good as a 5v5 game because a roaming support adds excitement when they've gone missing.
A 4v4 game might have less roams because people may stick to their lanes/jungle to maximize farm, but maybe people would be happy?
I don't really know.
Meta would have been different and you'd be asking if would be better as a 3v3 game for some similar reason.
It would be less complex and less interesting.
the whole META and balance was developed around SR being 5v5.
There is a 3v3 game mode; the portion of the population that play that mode is indicative of the desire to play it.
I say keep support and remove junglers. That role is toxic. Nobody likes getting ganked. Can't believe it's even a part of a game where they ban people over chat logs. Junglers = way more toxic than the worst chat logs.
