Sylas uses Magicite to absorb, trap, and release enemies magic....

Just curious how he can steal ults like Cho Gath's, Shyvana's, Darius's, or Lee Sin's. How does he steal Kog's ult? Does he change the biology of his body to vomit corrosize ooze? How does he steal MF's ult? Just pulls her guns out of hammer space? How does he use Teemo's shrooms? There's no magic in that.

Sylas is lazy designed. They took things from LeBlanc and Neeko , and figured "We can squeeze a whole other champ out with this! Remember we wanted to do something with chains?"

It doesn't make sense. It reflects the balance team's decisions for a while. Super model locked up in prison for 15 years with chiseled physique and grooming, uses Magicite to steal ults except it doesn't make sense because he steals non magic ultimates. "But but, it's just a game"

Yes, and Riot's balance team are j u s t humans.

#Because Gameplay > Lore when it comes to how specific mechanical interactions work.

A champion who can only steal an ultimate from some small percentage of the cast would be pretty awful.

sylas isnt a lazy designed champ. wtf you smoking here. Yi is a lazy design. (no offense to yi players) he could be so much more than a auto attack rusher since hes a master and all but they settled with true damage into autos plain and simple and a defense/offense Q attack (honestly this is my favorite yi concept actually that requires skillful use) his W is counterproductive that makes him somehow tanky for no reason logic wise. his ult is great it just needs more than a auto attack/move speed steroid. that is my thoughts on him

Sylas on the other hand has so much more depth that reaches that fighter fantasy and turns ults against a team so he isnt irrelevant later. and the chogath/kog maw energy transformation HE manifests their form by A sample of their lifeforce to become them for a brief period. he shoots energy that hits like either a physical hit (punch energy bullets) or a magical burn (fire breath dots). he is a shapeshifter in his superpowers that needs a sample of his target first. Think infamous 2 where the main character (forgot his name) adapts super powers off of others.

That's not even the balance team...
