"So you are okay with Riot promoting rape?"

The Boards Universal Rules prohibit posts that contain:

Pornographic materials of any kind Real life depictions of gore, death, horifically violent acts, etc Content that represents sexually explicit acts Direct links to pictures or artist webpages that feature NSFW material*

My post contained text, no materials other than text were used ~~~ There was no depiction of anything, real life or not ~~~ The only content of my post were words using text ~~~ Post contained no links, no pictures, nothing NSWF ~~~

So just to be clear, I got mod'd for simply typing out the word "rape" and pressing enter?

That topic isn't okay. Suggesting someone is okay with the promotion of that topic isn't okay. Suggesting Riot is promoting it isn't okay.

I looked at the thread in question, and I do understand the concern about the vibes the comic cover gives off, but there are better ways to express those concerns than starting up a conversation about whether or not Riot is promoting sexual assault or whether or not another poster is okay with sexual assault. I should hope it's pretty apparent that the cover is intended to present a power play rather than specifically sexual assault, so while a conversation about whether or not it leans too far in one specific direction may be appropriate, accusing others of promoting/supporting sexual assault is not.

I mean the assumption that the company supports this act of cruelty is quite tasteless and to be honest really hasn't a place here. Mind sharing the context a bit, providing the thread where you orginally posted it?
