Compensation for Veigar

So with the removal of DFG the core of core items on every Veigar build, we were promised compensation for the drastic drop in our damage potential.......so riot takes away more damage from our ult....and makes our E nearly impossible to be used.....The Q cd is longer at max level and can be blocked by not just Braum or Yasou. HOW IS ANY OF THIS BETTER!? this is our compensation?
