Rengar has a similar "primal hunter" style to Kha'Zix. Very much Alien vs Predator.

And Talon has the same knive wielding assassin vibe as Katharina.

Those two are the closest you can get to being the same champions without being skins.

As for alternative builds: I think (don't pin me on this) Katarina can be build both AP and AD.
