Why isn't Kha'Zix more popular atm?

Simply out of curiosity, I'm wondering why he's not more popular...

Riot recently buffed his Isolation radius to acceptable standards. He's a reliable assassin with a fair amount of noob-friendly outplay material. High snowball potential, yet not necessary to do well. Excellent burst and duelling.

I'm trying to figure out why people aren't using him more... I've been able to stomp just about every game I've played with him. I imagine part of it is the self-proclaimed Tank Meta not being ideal for him, but a good player will find a way around it.

The standards for his isolation are still miserably bad, to be honest. They're still much larger than it used to be, which in itself is basically showing that it's still bad. He's a great champion and all, but..Not as strong as he used to be.

I personally think it is because cc moved from top lane to jungle because of cinder hulk and some devour champs out scale him pretty hard still. I do think he is strong but kind of risky to pick when you can learn RekSai build however, have cc, and can gank just as early as kha.

Tank meta is part of the issue but not the whole, even though they buffed his isolation ability its still not enough to bring back his former damage capabilities, long time ago before his nerf series he was able to go head to head with rengar in every situation so they nerfed only kha;zix for some reason leaving rengar alone, now kha;zix can really only do anything if he finds an enemy out in the middle of of the map without anyone on their team following him/her and that person isn't uber fed, which 70% of the time they either have the whole team near by or they are substantially fed so they can roam nowing they can fight 1 vs 3 if the need arises, so kha'zix has a very hard time being played even on a persons "good" day let alone a "bad" day, cause i see that kha'zix still has old school means of causing damage well Riot has buffed alot/every other champion up to the new patch standards for damage/surviving so kha'zix is just kinda of snuffed out of any means of being viable, is how "I" see it.

As s assassin jungler,I personally think him a very nice jungler and one of my best. Extreme counterjungling power that makes farming a nightmare to opponents, high mobility with stealth, and nuke potential The tip is to focus on your disengage when you fight as khazix, and you shall excell. Kills are very easy, just a stroke with you sythe don't give em the cash to retaliate

I like to use Kha'Zix top and mid.

Nobody expect me to chunk and poke them with his passive and Q, which costs a low amount of mana. The isolation buffs made him even better for lane. He is really powerful if he gets to snowball, but even if he doesn't, he can be useful late game. I personally think that he can outscale almost every other assassin since his cooldowns are very low late game, his combo is back after a few seconds, he is very safe due to his resets, and his damage cannot be denied by any means. Also he can afford to build somewhat tanky. The build I do for him is item 3074 item 3035 item 3158 item 3110 item 3102 item 3156 not necessarily on that order, and can be replaced by item 3143
