Why is it that when you trade in lane (let's say a lvl 2 trade) with your soldiers and attack the enemy champion, you get minion aggro? Wasn't it supposed to be a spell? Why is it counted as an autoattack for the minions but it is counted as a spell for the items?

Hope someone let me know the reasoning behind this. Thank you.

Wait, dont you get minion aggro if you damage the enemy champion with a spell too? Bumping this.. I want to know the answer too.

btw: No, minions only aggro when you AA a champion, not when you hit them with a spell.
