Tanks need base damage nerfs

Title. To me it's mind blowing that tanks have dominance over pretty much every role right now in the early game. In top lane they will shove you under tower and harass you while you try to CS and in some cases like Sion, outright kill you with the most deceptive hitbox ever (outside of Sion's Q by a few pixels, still get hit by it). Galio just makes playing Mid-lane mages feel like ass because he has so much base damage and CC it makes it nearly impossible to even kill him outright, Sej and Rammus still dominate the jungle becoming ridiculously tanky without much investment into armor and MR. In the bot lane Alistar, Leona, Braum, and Tahm don't leave much room for counter-play. The game is so fucked right now, that I'm pretty sure even the balance team doesn't have a definitive goal right now. It's all just a bunch of random changes because they realize that their players are leaving the game in droves and they need a way to offset that.

That's the end of my rant, downvote me/call me stupid/remove my post. Do whatever the fuck you guys want, this company doesn't give a shit about the players anymore and it's clearly displayed by how the the teams who actually work around gameplay balance and champion design don't give a shit about player feedback.

It's kind of surprising Riot hasn't figured that out for some champions yet. Ability damage should be based off itemization, not the natural based numbers. The issues with Tank Ekko, Tank Akali, Tankplank before his Rework, etc. All of them just have insanely high scaling base numbers and don't even need to build items that would supply more damage for them.
