Patch 6.9 (Preseason mk. II)

Just wanted to make this post because of the sheer amont of changes coming in the new patch (and how insane some things will be).

I recommend that after you download the patch, play some Bots or Draft Normals. There is a high probality that there will be a hotfix similar to the Juggernaut patch. To prevent any unnecessary head-banging, ease into the new patch and see what's good and what is not. I'm not one of those people who believes that Ranked/Draft needs more bans, but at this point you can not completely ban all the Champions that will be extremely strong in the upcoming patch. This is what I personally will be doing, and I recommend that anyone who has not played the patch on the PBE does likewise.

EDIT: Looking at the new official patch notes, I am going to take my time with this patch and not even glance at ranked until I sort all this stuff out. Changes for days.

The only change im disliking already is the nerf to qss. Now adc's will be free gold to a zed/fiora.

Agreed, the majority of ADC's will be much more vulnerable to Assassins such as Zed and CC tanks such as Maokai.

QSS still removes CC right?

Yes, but because QSS will only be used as a niche item (no longer removes debuffs) . CC tanks will be more effective at locking down targets. They essentially force you to deal with them instead of using an item slot that could be used for a more effective item (Dominik's).

the patch usually screws something up.

That's why I said that it would be a good idea to refrain from ranked or even blind normals.
