honor level 1?

My account was suspended for 2 weeks about 4-5 months ago for being toxic and i have been doing my best to be less toxic. For a while, I have been wondering why i wasnt getting my honor level back, as i keep hearing about other people getting it back over a few days, and I have been 0 for several months now. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong and was wondering if anyone could help me out? When I look at my honor level icon, it says that I am at checkpoint 1 of 3, but it doesn't say what the checkpoints are so I dont know what I need to do to get my honor back... I've seen some discussion where these people are complaining of things like this, and they get a response from a riot employee saying something like,"I've looked over your past 10 games, and it seems that you have said,' stop feeding you fucking noob' 14 times. Maybe cutting down on this will help," but I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Anyone got any ideas?
