Honor level 0-1 Checkpoints?

My account was suspended for 2 weeks about 4-5 months ago for being toxic and i have been doing my best to be less toxic. For a while, I have been wondering why i wasnt getting my honor level back, as i keep hearing about other people getting it back over a few days, and I have been 0 for several months now. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong and was wondering if anyone could help me out? When I look at my honor level icon, it says that I am at checkpoint 1 of 3, but it doesn't say what the checkpoints are so I dont know what I need to do to get my honor back...

Dont worry. I was only chat banned and dishonored from 6 months. I don't think it's possible to get to level 1 anymore XD

Honestly, I'm not sure if the honor system is working correctly...I have been playing loads of games and haven't been gotten one of the "checkmarks" for Honor 2 yet unless they removed the option to get it through bot games (though no one commented on my post about it). So it could just all be bugged

Honestly I though it was a huge combination of things.

Honor others, this shows sportsmanship and if everyone honors you get a little more
No report of a period of x days/games whatever it may be
Keep it clean, no swearing
There may or may not be a cool of period to when you can start trying to earn it back
Lastly their may actually be a period of time where your eligible for moving up in checkpoint, failure can make the whole process rest to last checkpoint

These are just my opinion because Riot doesn't publicizes what is needed to get it back. Also with the loot system that has been added to honor I think they've gotten for strict with honor. Checkpoints I'm pretty sure didn't exist before, so that might explain the fast return. Also playing a lot of game can help, thou just the same this can hurt.
