implying people play urgot
What's an Urgot?
Is it like.. escargot or something?
An Urgot is a champ that looks like a potatoe crab thing it only has .5 in popularity so you don't hear much
On free week I poked with his acid pot explosion and hit Q over and over on them. His ult has relatively short range at first, but it gets farther as he levels. Then again, I built him with Rylai's Scepter and Frozen Mallet for fun. And I am a casual.
Bottom lane on Dominion, Urgot usually goes Muramana into basically whatever. Tanky? Trinity and armor pen? Basically anything works.
The new red elixirs are absurd on him.
I actually like Urgot, would probably own if I didn't main jungle. I got quadra with his since you can just E and Q people into hell while your team peels. Especially since E basically makes a skillshot (albeit a pretty low damage one) targeted.
start with sapphire crystal + hp pots, get a tear early. build phage then sheen then upgrade to trinity and get your boots of choice (zerks or lucidity). If tear is almost fully stacked you can upgrade into manamune next or get a last whisper. Frozen heart is your armor defensive item (decent mana to synergize with manamune, attack speed slow if they get close, high armor, and most importantly 20% cdr) and you can either get banshee's veil or Maw for Magic resist.
masteries are 21/0/9 and runes should be ArmorPen reds, Scaling Armor/health yellows, Scaling M.resist blues, Flat AD Quints
I play Urgot in top lane to just crap on certain matchups. his early harass if you can land E and Q+AA's is just insanely easy to push them out of lane.
gets to 35% cdr (40% with cdr masteries in offense) and if you mix AA's with Q's you can deal out some pretty decent damage with trinity + Muramana
I only use ult in lane to secure kills with ganks and teamfights to force people out of position or to catch them if they aren't with their team. You don't do as much damage as most adc's late game but your passive and shield's slow are great for teamfights if you can get them on multiple people. Try to snipe the enemy ADC with your E, if it lands pop them with Q's and auto their frontline, if it doesn't just keep attacking their front line until E is back up.
Back when Morg was walking all over bot lane as support I won a bunch of games with Support Urgot, which was surprisingly effective if you can get yourself a randuins in a decent amount of time while still supporting.
Ulting the carry out of the enemy team and then popping randos in the middle of them proved pretty disruptive. Your CC is junk though so after the fights going you're mostly making sure your passive debuff is on any burst threats.
I actually just played a game of support urgot recently. In viability i would say it is slightly above urgot mid and jungle.
I think Urgot top is the only really serious pick for him these days. Or mid I suppose...My friend went against Urgot mid as akali and got absolutely destroyed. Urgots e - q ignored his shroud and destroyed him.
you build him depending on the team you're against.
you need a fair amount of defensive stats to make him useful or he just gets blown up. he does a lot of damage with muramana + cleaver + LW so that leaves 2 item slots for defensive items. dont be afraid to build mercs instead of ionians. you can get more CDR from a spirit visage or talisman if necessary.
the main problem with people who think urgot is bad (and rightly so, he is bad). but the main problem with people who think he's worse than he really is, is that they dont use his auto attacks because they dont build him properly. if you arent tanky enough to get into auto attack range then you're doing it wrong. Q spam alone isn't enough to play urgot. Yes he is a caster, but his autos hit really hard too, especially once you finish that muramana.
Muramana, 40% CDR (with masteries), Armour Pen. Slightly tanky. Furor boot enchantment.

Kite melees all day, survive their gap closers because of passive and slight tanky-ness.
