Malicious Metal's Mordekaiser build

item 3151 ? I am just curious why you suddenly added this item to your build.

I always looked you up to see how to build Mordekaiser properly and before your build was item 3116 item 3146 item 3053 item 3143 item 3065

I am not saying Liandry's torment is a bad item, I actually think it's really good on Morde.

I am just wondering why you made the switch all of a sudden. Because you are building it all the time now.

It's because I moved to the Mid lane. The removal of SoTA and the prevalence of CotC Users top made me switch Morde a lane further down.

I rock a more damage focused build in Mid consisting of item 3116 item 3020 item 3151 item 3146 that makes Mordekaiser deal disgusting amounts of damage. Couple this with Ghost and Stormraider's surge and you got yourself a pain train that has no brakes.

I usually round the build off with item 3053 and item 3143 which makes me only a bit less tanky than the standard Juggernaut build.

My older build is still the way to go top lane due to the SV+Gunblade Synergy and it being overall a safer option.

Mid lane success relies on strong map control, roams, farming and knowing how to deal with most mid lane matchups, most of which have superior range. Top lane's where I still recommend people wanting to pick up Morde but for the time being I roll mid.

Hope that helps.

Edit; Liandries also has a great build path and the Penetration and Burn (that gets doubled with rylais) also helps a ton against the heavy HP stacking tanks running around.

It's good with DFT on twisted treeline, and mord is opie as f00q on TWT

Probably compensating for the removal of Strength of the Ages.

Building Gunblade second might leave them a little too squishy in the mid-game.
