How does death recap work?

I just want to clarify does the death recap really show all the damage done? In the pic i linked i was at full health but went down fast af within 1 second, note that i had gargoyle and ult up, my health should've been at least 6000, yet only 1k-2k damage was done, darius had no ult. Where did my health go?
