The importance of Flex 3v3

As someone who has put more time into TT than SR in my 5.5 years playing this game I have been waiting a very long time for a 3v3 solo queue. Mainly because it's hard for me to climb with a team because I can't get people to commit. However, I can now rank on my preferred game mode without the reliance of 2 other people.

I know a lot of people hated dynamic queue on SR, but I feel like it makes a lot more sense on TT. Because strictly solo could get lonely, but solo/duo would be weird because you would always have to have at least one solo.

Not only that, but it has definitely increased the player base, securing it as an always open game mode. And maybe, if it continues to grow, might get a bit more love from Riot. Maybe I'm just overly optimistic though, who knows.

Regardless, I can now truly put my 3v3 skills to the test and see how high I can climb. I got placed Silver 1, and I'm confident I can hit Plat before the end of the month.

What are all of your thoughts about this? And why wasn't this a bigger announcement??

Right now it is pretty buggy in terms of match making. The quality of match making is very terrible. When you get to the higher elo games aren't determined by how well you do but rather how lucky you were with who riot paired you with. Have had games, in my p1 to diamond promos where I have silver 4 team mates that look like they are just intentionally feeding because they are so bad.

Ah, yeah that would be pretty frustrating. To be fair match making for 3v3 has always been inconsistent.

I do say though this is a step in the right direction because Riot will be more likely to fix issues and try to improve it if it has a bigger player base.

By no means is it perfect, but I am still happy they did it.
