Lulu's not really the best support right now and could use a buff... (From someone who plays Lulu)

As someone who plays ; she is greatly struggling as a support... She doesn't offer much to teams this pre-Season in my opinion; especially since assassins are running rampant and her polymorph isn't much to stop them.

Buffs:

W: Whimsy

Polymorph duration increased from 1.25/1.5/1.75/2/2.25 to 2.25/2.5/2.75/3/3.25 seconds

" already fares well against assassins, so she is given an increased polymorph duration to stop them completely from reaching her ADC."

I was about to pop in here and say that there's no way any buffs are going to go well simply because polymorph feels so bad to play against...

Polymorph buffs are the last thing a Lulu main should want. That's perma-bannable, easily.

What makes you think she needs buffs with a healthy 49%-51% win rate? I'm not understanding why that is bad for her.

I felt like Lulu is struggling against assassins, since I tend to see a lot of assassins as of lately.

Hmm. I mean, I would have a hard time justifying buffs for the 5th most played support champ this patch with a 49% win rate. That seems about right. She's definitely not strong, but she would probably be top-tier with any substantial buffs. I'm not seeing a clear incentive for the balance team to make adjustments there.

Making polymorph duration longer would only polarize things even more. Meaning, it would be worse against assassins (which is already bad enough to begin with), and still not do jack shit against mages or tanks.

It's only adding unnecessary power when in reality we would rather have increased range in favor of lowering duration or even turning into a skillshot.

Skillshot... that's an interesting thought. I never even considered it, but I suppose that could give her more skill expression and make that skill less of a pain for the enemy team. I like it.

Lulu's %50.90 W/14% Pick in Diamond on Lolalytics. She's doing fine in solo queue and will probably run competitive over when it swings back around.

Why on Earth would we buff her over Sona or Karma?

Idk, I think Karma's strength is tied to team comps way more than the others, but 46% win rate is a bit...bad. 48%-ish to 50% is a cool spot for her if you ask me, for a solo queue general win rate.

Polymorph duration is already long enough, what are you on about?

People only see her shield, max it, and wonder why polymorph feels so "underwhelming". It has always cucked assassins, bruisers, and fighters, and not really tanks and mages, who are both meta right now.

In a meta where tanks and mages excel especially botlane, Lulu has a disadvantage against them as she couldn't really "kill lane", and that is only natural. She doesn't need buffs.

Hes just right. Lulu is rly Bad atm compared to s7. If i get oneshot by 0-0-0 rengar at min 5 eventhough i poly and exhaust him perfectly, than there is something wrong. But id Say buff her range scaling or Base stats. And fking make her w do what It should do. I always See polymorphed garens use their ults, or rengars that jump. Make w supressing(without the movement Part) and all is fine.
