Riot has ignored you for half a year, no feedback except for indirect, misleading PR statements.

Imagine Riot is your friend, would you take this kind of treatment from a friend?

The "you" here is anyone that disagrees with the direction of the game this season.

I mean c'mon now, do you want to have your amazing league memories clouded with memories of getting "back-doored" by a schiesty company?

League is an epic game.

Riot is a questionable company.

That last bit is just my opinion.
