Seriously....this game. =/ (Rant)

Sona I don't even know what to say anymore. Bots are too easy, but PVP is a nightmare with FAR more losses then wins. If Shaco gets picked, we quit at 20 every game. No position i play helps, even if i have lots of experience with some champs. Online videos to explain what i am doing wrong and fixing it does nothing, even after countless hours of playing and practicing against bots. I have been doing well with my tilting till about 2 weeks ago with so many shacos and afk'ers that i slowly lost it. The constant "Bots are freaking easy and i can choose any champ in any placement and i will still win" and "My team is going to get rekt no matter who we fight against in PVP" makes me lose my mind. I understand....losing comes with playing this game. But the ratio makes this game a nightmarish mess. 1/10 won games leaves me feeling dissatisfied with this game as a whole...and apparently practice does not help.

For as much as i have played this game, and as much as i love it....Jesus Christ, i cannot stand this game atm. Every game is a struggle. Every play feels intimidating. EVERYONE feels like they know what they are doing (including me)....but when it comes to performance, the fact is, i cannot hold a candle to anyone else in PVP for the most part. Other games, i get lucky, i know this. I had a wonderful game in ARAM using Heimerdinger....but it was because i got fed and the other team really was snowballed hard. =/ Didn't feel like much of a win.

On the other hand, in SR, my teams gets CLOBBERED. Every. Game. This struggle to tread water instead of drown in it is making this game unplayable for me. I WANT to like this game....but im having my doubts about continuing. The constant grind to level against bots is boring, and pvp leaves me feeling depressed and frustrated. I have few friends that are willing to help out with this (Too busy playing their own 'ranked' matches, apparently), and when they do, they just play their lane and say 'you did fine'....against bots. Brushing it off like 'Piffff this guy....'.

So, Summoners.....what do? :(

If you are really level 25, understand that you don't really understand even half of what there is to do in this game. I've been playing for over a year now and I still understand there is the majority of the game that I don't understand/do well. The beauty of this game is the endless opportunity for improvement, and if you really are lv.25 then there is a lot to work on. I started playing pvp at level 20, I remember getting my butt beat when I first started pvp. Remain cool and just focus on your own lane, cs perfectly and be defensive on trades. Eventually you will start understanding more advanced mechanics such as roaming and teamfighting, positioning and keeping track of cooldowns. Things get better man, just be constantly looking for things to improve on and it will start looking better [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

Pick a champ, and practice.

Pick 2 things to work on each game.

For me right now its Kog maw, (or twitch if kog is banned)

and i'm working on last hitting, and positioning.

Watch all the stuff you can on both those things you want to work on, read up on it.

dont get discouraged.

Remember the game isn't perfect, the grouping system is far from perfect. all you can do is control the things you can control.

You can still win, even if your team is trash. But more importantly YOU can win, even if you lose the match.

look at your goals, and compare.

at 20 minutes, you have 170 CS, 100 higher than anyone else on your team, you placed more wards than anyone, you go caught less, you destroyed more towers, took more objectives etc. You won. Your team just lost. ignore the final out come of the match,

Despite all the blaming winning or losing is a team effort. you can still win your role, win your lane, win your champ without winning the match.

Playing against bots is very different than playing against actual people, that is probably where your problem is. Also if you're playing with Level 30 and Ranked friends in then you're going to be versing more skilled players.

Just keep trying at regular matches and try to play less bots.

Post your actual account and maybe I could tell you. If this is your actual account and you are getting clobbered at level 25 then you must be new and you just need more games. First thing I tell new people? Play safe, don't go for trades until you know enough about them and learn how to last hit creeps. Preferably 5 of them per wave but hopefully every cs in the first 3 waves.

What are you practicing in bot games? If you jungle just work on your clear speed, if you are in a lane in bots work on your last hitting. You should be able to get every single cs as long as you want in a bot game while still pressuring the bots out of lane.
