I have never really jungled before but i know what they buffs are and etc. I don't really know what junglers are good for beginners who are just getting into it. Any ideas?

P.S. I was looking at nocturne and he seems pretty interesting

Nocturne's cool but not exactly a 'beginner' jungler. Give Warwick a shot, can't really go wrong with him so long as you get some attack speed.

Warwick is a good one. Amumu is really good considerin most build him to be tanky. You could look into Vi, as she can still be useful even with failed ganks.

I always used to recommend Nunu as a starter jungler. I haven't played him since the new jungle came out though so I don't know how he does anymore.

Warwick and Vi are the two I'd recommend with how the jungle is right now, both their kits are solid and simple and they have the sustain to handle the new harder camps

Warwick.

Warwick is baby's first jungle. Easy ganks, easy DPS boost, easy sticking power, built in sustain on passive and Q, can build tanky while still doing obscene amounts of damage.

Sustain junglers are your best bet, Nunu, Fiddle and Warwick.

Id reccomend yi, get a leashe at blue and level your heal at 2 that way you have really really good sustain, just keep getting blue right away and you should have great sustain

Pantheon is probably the best for learning to jungle well. You will learn to balance farm/ganks, where to be at the right times, and how to itemize when behind and ahead.

When you are doing well and ahead. item 3723 item 3117 item 3074 item 3035 item 3143 item 3102

When you are behind. item 3723 item 3117 item 3143 item 3102 item 3035 item 3026

The paths you take on the item builds are entirely up to you and you can adjust them how you feel will be needed. But honestly the best way to learn is to pick a jungler with clear strengths and weaknesses that you learn through experience and where you can make an actual difference through your own skill.

Panth is strong at early ganks, counter ganks, and ganks bot the best out of any jungler atm. His weakness is when you are unable to capitalize on his strengths early game then don't have much to bring to a fight outside of stunning a single target. When you are behind just go tanky and stun targets in the front for your allies to kill.

Stuff like Warwick and Amumu aren't really good for people learning to jungle simply because they really only have two kinds of skills. Knowledge/Jungle Rotation Knowledge(which camps to clear in which order to maximize time and placement) which are only known with experienced junglers.

Edit - oh god this was a 2 month necro, frekin trolls.

Fiddlesticks After getting blue and going to various camps:

  • Throw E
  • Hit W on large monster
  • Do not touch keyboards for about 5 seconds.
  • Rinse & repeat
