Intense losing streaks?

This season is an absolute nightmare for me. I've been playing since early season 1 and I have never in the history of my time playing this game, experienced this level of difficulty to simply win a single game. No matter what lane, no matter what champion, no matter what game mode, I feel like I need to play like an LCS player just to have a chance at winning. I don't know what it is, but this season I keep going on upwards of 10 game losing streaks continuously. It's becoming to the point where I don't want to play anymore this season. Am I the only one struggling just to win simple games? Why is this season so difficult???

i feel you man lost almost all my placements ended up in silver, but then now I encounter all sorts of people from gold and higher elos in silver. I have no idea what riot was thinking with this season

I've been queued twice in a row with the same guy who instalocks and tells my party that he will feed all game. The downside of playing a free game is playing with toxic players or people intentionally trying to ruin your playing time.

then when you get 10 win streak you dont complain about the game being too easy because of broken match making putting you with easy people?

No because that rarely happens. I'm losing 90% of the time this season, that's not bad luck, that's not a coincidence, there's something going on behind the scenes this season.

There is. It's called "being on tilt".

You can look up more on the subject, but until it is resolved, I recommend that after three loses or a particularly bad one, you refrain from playing anymore ranked games until later for your own benefit.

No man, tilt doesn't happen when you're playing your first game...If you're tilting in your first game, you should probably not play League.

I just had a loss streak myself and we probably only won the recent game because I believe we had smurfs on our team and everyone minus Sion was doing great. I was doing so-so. Their team that consisted of two adcs kept getting deleted by our Teemo adc, Azir was making huge plays...etc...But I'm guessing the fact that it was a Draven as their jungle was another keypoint to their loss. Aka, we could've lost even then if RNG was against me instead of with me and Draven was a normal jungle.

Anywho, point is, loss-streaks are stupidly easy to be had in S6 because of how strong and snowbally everything is. Even when Riot tried upgrading the other keystones, I still often see 3-5 Thunderlord teams and it's disgusting to see. I saw some ideas around forums that were something like TLD only proccing on one spell cast (even if it's recurring damage)...Those, imo, should've been hotfixed in.

I'm aware of what tilt is, and sometimes I do actually just put the game down for a few days, but unfortunately to no avail. I'm not the best player in the world by any means, but I've been playing since the beginning of league and I'm a fairly decent player. I have my bad days and I have my good days, and prior to this season I would win, if I had to guess, 60-ish% of my games, this season it seems like i'm losing 10/1.

are you referring to normals or ranked ?

IGankLikeGaston1 votes

I'm experiencing this in ranked, normals and aram, although aram seems to be the game mode where it's easiest to carry your team through on your own, so I've been sticking to that. I'm almost afraid to do my placements so I've been avoiding them until I know what the hell is making this game so difficult this season so I can try to remedy what's happening and inform my team so we have a better chance of getting through it positively.

And that's exactly what Riot wants, for the weak/toxic players to quit the game, rage quit to be specific. The new placements system is made to melt you down until it becomes worst than even burning in hell. League has its title for having toxic players and they'll do anything to remove these toxic players from the game. Other than that they're trying to make you play in premade teams, they're forcing you to play with friends because oddly playing with friends makes a player become less toxic.

unless one of your friends is secretly toxic and no one knows about it................... yet

IGankLikeGaston1 votes

I'm not toxic though. I mean not to my team at least, I'm more of a "yell at my team mates through my computer screen" so I can vent it out instead of typing anything kind of person. It's not that I'm raging or being toxic this season, it's that it's so frustrating and hard to win in this season that it's exhausting, and you can only lose so much before something loses it's fun. That's the problem.

I'm struggling like crazy as well. If my team is ahead, I have to shotcall like Hai or we'll lose every teamfight. If my team is behind its going to be a total stomp.

I m also on losing streak and most of my friends are also but if everyone is on losing streak who the fuck is winning
